Collectors Edition Done Right: Assassins Creed 2 Master Assassins Edition

On November 17, 2007 Assassins Creed was released and I couldn't get to GameStop Fast enough to get my Limited Edition Copy. To my surprise the Limited Edition was a let down. For $70 all you got was a 3 inch figure of Altair, a mini Penny-Arcade comic...

Now its November 17, 2009, 2 years later the sequel Assassins Creed 2 is out and what is called the Master Assassins Edition makes up for the previous Limited Edition. For $80 What you get from the Master Assassins Edition is the Artbook: The Art of Assassins Creed, Two Exclusive in-game maps: Palazzo Medici and Santa Maria Dei Frari, the Game with Additional content DVD: Behind the scenes of Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed II Soundtrack, an 8.5 inch Collectible Ezio Statue and this all comes in an oversized Metal Tin that can probably hold about 8 Game Cases with extra room along the sides.

Now if you live outside of the U.S. You might not get the Masters Edition but one of the Black or White Editions. The Black Edition has alittle more to offer then the Masters Edition while the White Edition has less out of the 3.

The Black Edition cost the same as the Master Edition and comes with an 8.5 inch Ezio Statue wearing a Awesome Black Costume, Conspiracy Book which gives details of the plot and 3 bonus missions. The White Edition cost $70 but comes with the Ezio statue in the white costume and 1 bonus mission.

Personally I always need the limited edition to whatever game I'm buying. The little extras make my purchase alittle more special. It may suck that the U.S. will not be able to get the Black Statue but I still love my Master Assassin Edition ether way. Now if I can only find a place for the big tin.
