Disney’s Wreck-It-Ralph is a Gamer’s Dream Film
If you have yet to see the new trailer for Disney’s upcoming Wreck-It-Ralph, then you are in for a treat. For those who don’t know, Disney’s 52nd animated feature focuses on Wreck-It-Ralph, the main villain of the video game Fix-It Felix Jr. (obviously a Donkey Kong inspired game) – you see, Ralph is tired of being the bad guy and wants to set out to prove that he can be the hero of a video game. Throughout his noble quest, viewers will encounter a metric ton of cameos from characters that span the history of video games. It goes without saying that Wreck-It-Ralph is the video game equivalent of the legendary Who Framed Roger Rabbit in terms of amassing so many intellectual properties from varying distributors in one place.
