Did you miss me?
the first game? Can you use Shark Repellant Bat-Spray? While the trailer answered almost none of these questions (and I had a blog all set up about the in-game practicalities of SRBS), it did hint very heavily that Harvey Dent/Two-Face would be one of the leading villains. Today (March 9th, 2010), some more info became known about the game via the source of all media knowledge in the world: IMDb. A check of the page for "Batman: Arkham Asylum 2" reveals that Two-Face will be voiced by Bruce Greenwood, better known to audiences as Capt. Christopher Pike in J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek." So, let's review: Capt. Pike is Two-Face and Luke Skywalker is the Joker. Excuse me... I need to change my underwear.
Further down the page, you can also spot a curious revelation: Vincent Martella (don't ask, I didn't know him either) will voice Robin, the Boy Wonder. That decision was pretty unexpected; I'd always thought that modern Batman media (save for the comics) was trying to kill off Robin by simply ignoring him. And, let's not forget, IMDb was the same site that famously mis-listed Rosemary Harris (Aunt May) as "Carnage". If it's true, then Robin's appearance opens up a couple of possibilities. Will co-op be possible? Multiplayer? Will Robin have his own story to play through a la Ada from "Resident Evil 4"? Or, will Robin simply be a grown-up version of Tails, shadowing Batman and blind-jumping to his death, only to float in a few seconds later unharmed? Either way, I can't wait to have "Arkham Asylum 2" in my hot little hands
