In a bit of an early Holiday surprise (or perhaps it was just Harmonix being smart and not doing this over the holidays), Harmonix has announced the details of next week's DLC allotment for the Rock Band platform. On the larger scale of news is the announcement of more Nirvana songs, and most importantly, some of their best work. Details are below:

Available on Xbox 360 and Wii (Dec. 1) and PlayStation 3 system (Dec. 3):
Nirvana – “Come As You Are (Live from MTV Unplugged)” +
(All tracks are original master recordings)
These tracks will be available for purchase as “Night Ranger Pack 01” or “Nirvana Pack 02” as well as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system, and as individual tracks on Wii. Tracks marked with a “+” are also available in the family-friendly LEGO Rock Band Music Store.
