SEGA has just released a demo for the upcoming Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing on the Xbox Live Marketplace. There is one little catch though: you WILL need an Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to download the demo, at least for the time being. The 1GB download allows you to play as either Sonic The
Hedgehog or Banjo through a few of the game's tracks. While you can only play as those characters, it will be interesting to see who the computer-controlled AI opponents will be (and if long-time SEGA fans can identify them all).
On top of the demo, a Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing Premium Theme has been released as well, for those who like to spice up the look of their NXE menus. The Premium Theme will set you back 240 MS Points, which is par for the course regarding the pricing for Premium Themes.
Personally, I would've been perfectly content with just playing as Ryo Hazuki and his mighty forklift; after all, that's the perfect tool needed when looking for a place where sailors hang out....
