Capcom has finally made it official that Street Fighter III characters Ibuki, Makoto and Dudley are joining the fray in Super Street Fighter IV. There were many rumblings that these specific characters would end up in the game, and like most internet rumors, it ended up being true. Internet's a funny thing, eh?

Needless to say, it will be very interesting to see how these characters play in the Super Street Fighter IV realm, as it is a bit different than the playstyle from the Street Fighter III games. Ibuki plays with a quick playstyle, much like Guy, and also utilizes her Shurikens to keep foes at bay. Makoto, on the other hand, is a female fighter who relies on the pure power of her Rindoukan karate, focusing on extremely powerful and brutal blows (as an aside note, Makoto bears a rather striking resemblance to Akane of the Ranma 1/2 anime/manga). Finally, Dudley is a boxer who hails from Britain, and unlike Balrog who focuses on brute strength, Dudley's boxing is marked with speed and finesse. Most importantly, Dudley is always the consummate gentleman, sharply dressed and living the "fine life". It's been a dream match for many Street Fighter fans to see Dudley and Balrog go at it, and Super Street Fighter IV will deliver on that end.

Let's go back to that rumored list of characters and see who's been revealed thus far:

• Juri - Confirmed
• Adon - Confirmed
• Cody - Confirmed
• Guy - Confirmed
• Ibuki - Confirmed
• Makoto - Confirmed
• Dudley - Confirmed
• Hakan - Not yet confirmed, but the end of the newest trailer shows someone speaking at the end, with some oil falling down on the screen. You can bet that he's the person speaking, and that he will be announced soon.
