BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger was released for consoles last summer and was highly received with praise by gamers and critics alike. Eariler this year, a PC version was being made for release in
France. After hearing this news,
PC gamers were speculating if and when the game would be localized for North America. This week there was a new submission for BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger PC on the
ESRB website indicating that the game has been officially rated for release here in the USA. While this hints at a USA release there still has been no official announcement or comment from the developers until now.
ESG contacted Arc System Works to get an official statement concerning the USA localization of the title and received the following statement from an Arc System Works representative...
"We are finalizing this product now and preparing for the release within the few weeks."So there you have it PC gamers, get ready to play one of the best fighting games of 2009 on your favorite platform. ESG will keep you posted as more details surface on the PC version of BlazBlue.
