Nintendo Download For Week of 4-5-2012
To sum up this week’s Nintendo Download, I’m going to take a quote from the description of Colors! 3D, one of the apps available this week: “Tailored for touch-screen devices, it caters to everyone from serious artists to aimless doodlers“. Indeed, “aimless” would be quote apropos to sum up this week’s content, as all we have are a painting app (Colors! 3D) a Penguin-based puzzle game (Penguin Patrol) and a passable multiplayer racing game (TNT Racers). The rest of the week’s content consists of a music video from The Shins, “The Rifle’s Spiral“, and an interview with Warren Spector talking about Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Two and Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion, of which the latter actually seems interesting.
I know it may seem as I loathe what Nintendo has to offer week by week, but considering they don’t really put too much effort into making large-caliber releases ever week, and tend to neglect the Virtual Console service more often than not, it’s hard not to feel let down every week. Perhaps things will change sometime down the road (and I really hope it does), but until then you can read on below to see the full details on this week’s Nintendo Download:
