THE INTERVIEW
ESG: Who the hek is Grlpants?
Grlpants: Grlpants is a name that came out of a bowling game that just kinda stuck with me. I'm a girl and a like to wear pants sooo Grlpants! I like comic books, video games, anime, and pretty much anything that kids would be made fun of in high school. I also have no problem looking like a complete jackass so I'm usually the one that people send to do embarrassing things.
ESG: So you are a Producer of kick ass shows ey!? What shows and where can I find them?
Grlpants: I produce Gamer Reaction, a video game review show that gives gamers a voice. We were tired of hearing the biased opinions of one or two people who were scripted and being paid to say what they were saying. The show also covers classic titles, games you may have missed, fun sketches and more! We're also really serious about what we do. We make it our goal to produce quality game-related content that people would fully enjoy. Gamer Reaction also has a weekly audio podcast that covers what we couldn't fit in the show. Its raw and totally unedited, so you know crazy business goes down. I also produced a sitcom named 'No Reset' which covers the life of a group gamer friends living in the city as they try to deal with the crap that life throws at them. The Podcast and the 1st Season of Gamer Reaction can be found on www.Gamerreaction.tv. The second season of GR, as well as the pilot of No Reset, can be found onwww.GoodgameTV.com.
ESG: When did you begin work as a Producer?
Grlpants: Honestly, I started really getting into actively producing about 2 years ago. It's a lot of fun. I love doing it. There's something to be said about coming up with an idea, and having it come to life on screen. It's pretty sweet.
Grlpants: The boys and I are really passionate about making kick ass shows for gamers. We love what we do and are actively working on making this our full time jobs. We're so tired of the crap gamers have to go through for respect. We're working hard to get gamers the much needed respect that we deserve.
ESG: What would you say was your toughest project to work on?
Grlpants: The hardest project was probably trying to film No Reset. It's a frakkin' awesome show. I'm so proud of it. But jeeze, was it a pain to get it to be that awesome. Right now we only have a pilot and we hope to start filming again sometime in the future.
We're working hard to get gamers the much needed respect that we deserve.
ESG: Any new projects in the works?
Grlpants: Well, I'm not at liberty to say, but we DO have a project that we've been wanting to do for the past year that we think will be rad. Keep checking back.
ESG: Name some or one of your accomplishments made possible by your profession.
Grlpants: I've been able to meet fantastic people, go to awesome events, and do what I love to do. I think that's pretty sweet.
ESG: What is the major goal you have set for yourself, being a Producer?
Grlpants: My goal is to keep making shows that people love. In the end, if people enjoy it, that's all that matters to me.
ESG: (RANDOM) What is your favorite candy?
Grlpants: You REALLY want me to answer this? ok, ok, ok, I don't really eat that much candy, but when I do I'm drawn to circus peanuts. I don't know why, I just like the taste of it!! Stop looking at me like that!!

ESG: So you're a WoW fan! Alliance or Horde? *dun dun DUN!* and Why?
Grlpants: FOR THE HOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRDE!! I'm kind-of in love with Thrall. No really.. it's weird. I actually played WoW for all of a week and was bored to tears, but Warcraft III is my JAM!! I love the mythology and Thrall is strangely sexy.
ESG: Finally, Any words you would like to extend to our/your readers?
Grlpants: Get out there and do what you love to do. Don't let anyone tell you different that you can't. Also, (shameless plug), Gamer Reaction is on Facebook, Myspace, Youtube, Twitter, and on iTunes. We're currently working on a new updated website so look for that in the near future.
