Meet Adam, a blogger, a gamer, a scientific musician who uses his experiences to create a beautifully woven quilt of short stories. Although his bloggery is Science Fiction, there's a certain realism felt from the stories posted by the Brooklyn native. His writings are intense, thought provoking and extremelyintriguing. So this is what we do, here's an interview with one of NY's Finest.

ESG: How long have you been writing?
Adam: I've been writing since I was, maybe, around 10 or 11. I did alot of sketching, and I would make characters and write stories about them with pictures.

ESG: What inspired you to begin writing your current project?
Adam: Well, since about 14 I've had a few characters that I really loved, that were so real to me that I felt that I hadn't created them. I've always been a fan of mythology, epic adventure, folklore. I guess I wanted to take those characters out of my head and put them in a place where they could exist truly, mixing into it the things I loved about reading. When I told people about the story, and they sounded excited, I knew that I owed it to myself to make an attempt at an extended story.

ESG: Would you like to publish this particular story? Or would you prefer to continue your story via blog?
Adam: Well the blog isn't the story at all. That's just runoff from my brain, a place to show people what this world may be like. The story itself, I am definitely looking to publish.

ESG: Is there a character in your blog that is designed after a person you know? And if so, care to say who?
Adam
: Ahh. Well, some of the characters are inspired by real people. But none of them completely. But I take faces, names, personalities, characteristics from everyone I know to add dimensions to these created people.

ESG
:
How long does it usually take to complete one blog entry?
Adam: Its quick. It comes as a whim and I'm done 10 minutes later. It really is a very relaxed way for
me to express myself. I don't put much gravity into it.

ESG: WOW...So no drafts? Just a straight flow of goodness and occasional edits?
Adam: yea I just start with something, go with it, make sure there aren't too many misspellings, and
thats it haha. Its different for writing the book, much slower and I have to stay super focused

ESG: If you could name this style of blogging, what would you call it?
Adam: Hmmm. Personality Disorder Fictional Flatulence.

ESG: (lol) What is your favorite post thus far? And why?
Adam: Hmm. the one where I did a glossary cause people really liked it haha. It explained alot, it was fun to do. I felt like I was officializing words that I made up out of my head and people were ok with it.

ESG: Did you go to school for Literature? If not, have you thought about it?
Adam
: I never got a degree in anything regarding literature. I barely finished my associates period... haha. But I've thought about. Maybe one day, but I'm writing now and have a child. so I figure I wont wait on my love for writing until I have some kind of paper with a seal on it. I just read alot. Its good enough for me.

There ya go peeps! If you are ever looking for great short stories that expand the mind, don't hesitate to visit Adam's blog .It's like Sci-Fi candy...free tasty Sci-Fi candy!
