Yesterday, ESG was honored to attend the first ever, MLG Fighter Arena which featured Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur V on Sony’s Playstation 3. The competition was totally intense and we thank Nos and Dr. Pepper for getting us through the day. We had the opportunity to interview some of the Players and get behind the scenes footage of the event so keep posted for that update soon. In the meantime, here are the results from MLG’s Spring Fighter Arena:
Soul Calibur V:
- 1st Place: Hawkeye – $1,500
- 2nd Place: Keev – $900
- 3rd/4th Place: Kayane and RTD – $500 each
- 5th/6th Place: SomethingUnique, LostProvidence
- 7th/8th Place: Shin_RyuJin and WingZero
Mortal Kombat:
- 1st Place: CDjr – $1,500
- 2nd Place: DetroitBalln – $900
- 3rd/4th Place: Maxter, REO - $500 each
- 5th/6th Place: Curbolicous, KT Smith
- 7th/8th Place: Riu, CrazyDominican
Big shoutout to Hawkeye for winning his first MLG tournament. A great big thanks goes out to MLG for having us. We had an awesome time.
