Resident Evil 6 Collector’s Edition Details Revealed
Capcom has revealed the contents of the collector’s editions for Resident Evil 6, and surprisingly enough they vary depending on the platform. Labeled as Resident Evil 6 Anthology for the PS3 and Resident Evil 6 Archives for the Xbox 360, the retail price of $89.99 scores you the following goods on October 2:
- Resident Evil 6 Anthology (PS3):
- Resident Evil 6
- Resident Evil: Director’s Cut (PSN Download token)
- Resident Evil 2 (PSN Download Token)
- Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PSN Download Token)
- Resident Evil 4 HD (PSN Download Token)
- Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition (PSN Download Token)
- Resident Evil 6 Archives (Xbox 360):
- Resident Evil 6
- Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X HD (Xbox LIVE Download Token)
- Resident Evil 4 HD (Xbox LIVE Download Token)
- Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition (Xbox LIVE Download Token)
- Resident Evil: Degeneration (DVD movie)
Both sets offer quite a bit of content for your buck, though Resident Evil purists may tend to stick with the PS3 Anthology bundle as it contains the original PS1 game trilogy. That being said, it seems as if we shouldn’t expect any special collectible items as seen in most collector’s edition sets, as the bulk of the content seen in both bundles are merely download tokens for the legacy titles. Still, this may seem like a great deal for those who have not purchased any of the digital re-releases on either PlayStation Network or Xbox LIVE.
