Video Rock Band Blitz Arrives For XBLA, PSN This August

The folks over at Harmonix have just announced that Rock Band Blitz, the arcade-oriented spinoff of Rock Band, will be available for the PlayStation Network on August 28, and for Xbox LIVE Arcade on August 29. In addition, the following four songs have been revealed for today:

  • Avenged Sevenfold – “So Far Away”
  • Fun. ft. Janelle Monáe – “We Are Young”
  • Kool & The Gang – “Jungle Boogie”
  • My Chemical Romance – “Sing”

Rock Band Blitz will be available for $14.99 on the PlayStation Network, and on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points. You can check out a video below where Blitz‘s Project Director Matthew Nordhaus explains some more of the game’s various power-ups:
