Video Rock Band DLC For Week of 10-30-2012

Sublime

If you don’t practice Santeria, and you ain’t got no crystal ball, then you may be happy to learn that fan-favorites Sublime will be making their Rock Band  debut (the original band here, folks, not Sublime with Rome) next week with a triple threat of tracks that will keep many a Rock Band  night alive and kicking. All three of the songs here are hits, although the absence of the band’s other notable hit “Doin’ Time”  is very apparent here.

Perhaps the song is too laid back for Harmonix’s taste? I doubt it – expect to see the song hit Rock Band  at some point in the future. In the meantime, you can see a video preview of the Sublime pack, as well as the press release below!

With a distinctive sound that’s as much influenced by punk rock as by ska and reggae, Sublime rose to fame in the mid-‘90s with a string of hits off its self-titled third album. Often requested by Rock Band fans, Sublime will make its debut on the Music Store on October 30th!Three tracks will be available as part of “Sublime Pack 01.” First up is “What I Got,” the hit single that helped push the band into the spotlight in 1996. The track is joined by “Santeria” and “Wrong Way,” which spent 26 weeks on the Billboard’s Alternative Songs charts!

As a bonus, Rock Band Blitz players who play any of these Sublime tracks will earn double coins for each play!
