Rock Band DLC For Week of 6-12-2012
Normally, when Harmonix releases their weekly Rock Band DLC, fans can expect to see multiple music tracks available for download. In a rare case a licensing snafu, however, Harmonix is now unable to release their planned allotment and thus is forced to reduce their usual DLC release to only a single track for next week. That being said though, Rock Band fans certainly have something to be happy about, as California rockers Incubus return to Rock Band with their 1999 hit “Drive“.
In addition, and also in a way of saying “our bad” to the fans out there, Harmonix have also announced that tracks from Queens of the Stone Age, Daughtry, and the B-52s will be making their way to the Rock Band music library this summer. All in all, not too shabby, folks.
| California-based rock group Incubus had been making music for nearly ten years before it hit the mainstream with their chart-topping third album, 1999’s Make Yourself. “Drive,” the third single from the record and the track that earned the band Billboard’s Modern Rock Single of the Year award, comes to the Rock Band Music Store on June 12th!
The addition of “Drive” grows the library of Incubus tracks playable in Rock Band, which includes “Adolescents,” “Dig,” and “Wish You Were Here,” all available now on the Rock Band Music Store. Available on Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation®3 system (June 12th, 2012): • Incubus – “Drive” (This track will be available in Europe on PlayStation®3 system June 13th) Price: $1.99 USD (160 Microsoft Points ™, 200 Wii Points™) per song ** Dates for Rock Band game tracks are tentative and subject to change. ** |
