Rockstar has recently let slip the details regarding post-launch DLC for their highly-anticipated action shooter Max Payne 3. In similar fashion to previous titles such as L.A. Noire, Max Payne 3 will have a Rockstar DLC Pass option available for users, granting them access to all planned DLC for a flat rate. Available for pre-order now at Best Buy and GameStop retail locations, as well as directly on the PlayStation network, the Max Payne 3 Rockstar DLC Pass can be purchased for 2400 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE), or $29.99 (PlayStation Network and PC) – over a 35% discount compared to purchasing the content individually.

The first Max Payne 3 map pack arrives in June 2012. Dubbed “Local Justice,” the Map Pack includes the Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer multiplayer modes. The pack will also feature two additional maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer, new precinct-themed multiplayer avatar items, multiplayer challenges, and more.

“The story of Max Payne 3 begins in the single-player game and crosses over into the deepest multiplayer experience we’ve ever created,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We intend to support the Max Payne community with new and innovative content well into the future.”

Below is the list of all currently planned Max Payne 3 DLC coming down the pipeline:

June 2012

  • Local Justice Map Pack

  • Deathmatch Made In Heaven Mode Pack
