Sagat Joins The Fray In Street Fighter X Tekken

Gee...wonder who THAT could be??

Capcom has recently unveiled a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Street Fighter X Tekken which, ironically, teases the arrival of a new fighter into the roster. It doesn’t really take much detective work into guessing who the “mystery” character is, due to all the abundantly obvious clues given within the trailer. For one, you have a large splash of Sagat’s classic Thailand stage from Street Fighter II shown, as well as a foot and fist both wrapped up in white bandages, which Street Fighter fans will know as one of Sagat’s trademarks.

The question is: why is Capcom trying to be so secretive about it, when the cat’s already out of the bag? Recently, an image has surfaced online which shows Sagat in the character select screen for the game:

I see what you did there...BOB Sagat

One can only hope that with Sagat’s addition in Street Fighter X Tekken‘s roster, that he will retain his “God” tier status from Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter Alpha 3, as a Sagat who is not beastly is just not fun for anyone. TIGER….GENOCIDE!!!!
