Sony: PSN Store Back Up by End of May

Another Day, Another Sony Story. As the embattled software company fights off computer attacks on an almost daily basis, they spoke out regarding the status of its PlayStation Network Store. Those hoping that the service would be restored today will be left waiting.

Jeff Rubenstein, Social Media Manager for the US Playstation Blog, said “For those asking about the PlayStation Store, we’re still targeting restoration of all services by the end of this month. Contrary to reports, the Store will not be publishing today.” Sony hopes to have the PSN Store back up and running by the end of May (about a week from now) and will do two huge content pushes in two weeks to work through the backed up content not released since the store went down.
