Weekly: Rock Band DLC For Week of 1-31-2012

I’ll be honest here: while there may be more songs from punk rockers Sum 41 in next week’s Rock Band DLC selection than Tears For Fears, I think it’s fairly safe to say what the real highlight of the bunch is for most out there. Alas, we finally have the sweet sounds of “Head Over Heels” to belt out with friends, and I’m sure this song alone will make many a Rock Band party night special.

If you’ve never heard the song before, then shame, shame on you. If you have, perhaps you may have never seen the absolutely hilarious literal take on the song?

Once seen, it cannot be unseen. You’re welcome.

Canadian punk rock group Sum 41 got their first taste of success in 2001 with their single “Fat Lip,” off of their first full-length studio record, All Killer, No Filler. The group found similar success a year later with their follow-up record, Does This Look Infected?, with the lead single “Still Waiting” making waves on the Billboard charts.Tears for Fears had a string of hits in the ’80s, winning over audiences with its New Wave pop sound. “Head Over Heels,” the third single off of 1985’s highly-successful Songs from the Big Chair, reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.Available on Xbox 360, Wii™and PlayStation®3 system (January 31st, 2012):
