Xbox LIVE Content For Week of 5-29-2012 and Beyond

You love sales and discounts? I’m sure you do – after all, you’re a smart person! That’s why the deals seen on Xbox LIVE this week and next will tickle your fancy. Starting today, various games from PopCap Games’ digital library are 50% off, with discounts on titles such as Plants Vs. Zombies and Bejeweled 3. If casual games aren’t your bag, next week sees discounts on digital games such as SEGA Bass Fishing and DLC for Borderlands and Red Dead Redemption, which should please core gamers.

In a bit of a curious note, SEGA will resume their digital “Vintage Collection” sets with popular franchises Streets of Rage and Golden Axe, offering the three entries in each respective series for the very fair price of 800 Microsoft Points. Enthusiasts will be pleased to know that, when applicable, you can play the games in other regions, such as Japan and Europe; for Streets of Rage fans, this is quite a big deal, as Streets of Rage 3 was heavily censored in America compared to its Japanese counterpart, Bare Knuckle III. One thing that I’m not sure of is if these games will have online play, though I would have to imagine that they do considering that is essentially a no-brainer these days.
